Massage Experience

by  Sue Bonsor

"Hello I would like to tell you about my experience. I recently went to a well known salon for a detox massage.

My first mistake was to shut my finger in my car door. I went in and asked for a plaster as my finger was bleeding!!! the person who was doing my massage, was obviously annoyed by this request as there was a lot of huffing and puffing going on so much so I suggested we leave the plaster. Next she told me to get undressed and lie down. I was never told her name, and she did not tell me what exactly a detox massage was, so I thought I would ask.

That was my next mistake as she went through it so quickly I couldn't remember what she has said. By this time I was feeling uncomfortable. But I thought forget it relax and enjoy this massage you are paying for it. She started on my front with my legs, at one point she continued to massage the top of my leg so much instead of it being really nice it became aggravating, I looked up and she quickly went to my other leg. On top of this the room was cold, it was a very nice room very relaxing. This was the worst massage I had ever had, and I have had plenty. The good news is I have been to two tutorials with Kevala and we learnt about client relations how to introduce yourself and make your client feel at ease and relaxed. I learnt a really good lesson there, and no matter what sort of a bad day I have had never take it out on the client always smile. Thank you Kevala."

Thank you Sue, it's a lesson to us all on the importance of client care. - Kevala
