A Diploma Course in Integrated Health Management

What is the aim of the course?

The Integrated Health Management course looks at consultation, diagnosis and prescription and provides guidelines for significant and often dramatic health improvements at all levels: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.

This course has been designed to complement our Holistic Stress Management, Nutritional Therapy and Life Coaching Courses. Together they provide a truly holistic and integrated approach to health. This is a holistic guide to case taking and initial diagnosis with particular emphasis on basic nutrition, meditation and vibrational energy work to complement other therapies.

It is of particular relevance for those who have a back ground in nutrition and stress management. If you want to find about the Five Elements and the use of Miasms in extending your consultation skills then this course is a excellent skill extender for practitioners.

This course draws from naturopathic and homeopathic approaches to assessment and diagnosis. It is aimed at introducing the qualified therapist to a range of holistic assessment treatment modalities, which can be used to complement their existing therapies.

What does the Health Management course cover?

The course comprises 5 modules and covers:-

* Introduction: Painting a Health Picture

* Understand the physical, psychological, emotional and behavioural symptoms of stress.

* Interpret the case history of a client in a holistic way, building up a picture of the progression of any chronic conditions from their past and even from their parents.

* Holistic Diagnosis

* Understand the importance of good nutrition

* Understand the role of exercise in staying healthy

* General Health Management for Practitioners

* Understand the link between energy healing and physical and mental health

* Practise basic energy work and therapeutic touch

* Learn how to self-heal and teach it to others

* Working with the Mind and Vibrational Energy

* Devise Integrated Health Management sessions and classes

* Prepare yourself for setting up as a therapist

* Understand the basics about being self-employed

* Use the techniques you have learnt to achieve the life you want now

* Putting the Theory into Practice

* Setting up as an Integrated Health Management Consultant

* Case Studies: 6 Case studies are required to support this course

* Final Examination: to be completed on finishing all course modules

* Recommended reading: The course gives details of the recommended books students should read

N.B. This course does NOT contain our Anatomy and Physiology Programme, but upon request can be taken with this course. Please contact the centre for details of the fee for this option.

What qualification does this course give?

Having passed the final examination the candidate will receive a diploma and will be entitled to use the letters C.H.Ed Dip Int.Health (Complementary Health Education Diploma in Integrated Health Management).
