Ros Lynes

Ros has been practising massage and aromatherapy since 2000. She trained at the Claire Maxwell Hudson School of Massage in London and then set up a thriving massage practice in Oxford. Her background is in teaching, with twenty years experience of teaching English as a Foreign Language. She initially became interested in massage while teaching in Indonesia, and incorporates Indonesian techniques into her massage treatments. Teaching HSM and aromatherapy at the Kevala centre provides a welcome opportunity for her to combine these two areas of her professional life.
Ros is especially interested in the wider application of aromatherapy, and her aromatherapy work has ranged from providing treatments in a clinical setting to workshops on the use of aromatherapy for stress management. She offers short courses on the safe home use of aromatherapy, which cover basic aromatherapy first aid and a wide range of relaxation techniques.
Since 2000 Ros has also been a member/practitioner of The Reiki Association, which has played a vital role in supporting her own process.
