Hi Tim,
Thanks for your most encouraging assessment of my work through out the Stress Management Course and in particular in response to the final exam. I am delighted to have received my diploma and will now spend sometime just enjoying having reached this stage before making any firm decisions as to how exactly I will pursue using it.
No doubt I will pursue further study with the Kevala Centre in the future as the open style of learning that the centre supports and encourages through the dedicated one to one work that you as tutors undertake with each student is really great and suits my preferred way of learning.
In the meanwhile I wish you all the best in your own pursuits and once again thank you for working with me during this past year.
All the best.
Trish.

" I especially enjoyed the opportunity to extensively research the subjects I studied. It gave me a greater depth of understanding which I will pass on to my students. For me a great advantage of the course was being able to complete the course in my own time frame. I faced some big life challenges during that time and it was wonderful to be able to work around them.
Actually I felt Kevala was extremely thorough and offered incredibly in-depth explanations and information."
Testimonial regarding Stress Management

Brief Synopsis of my study for Complimentary Health Stress Management
Well I finally achieved my object of gaining a diploma in Stress Management with The Kevala Centre. It took me quite a long time because I was so busy with setting up a business and moving house (twice) during the training, in this respect being able to study in your own time was very useful. I am now able to look back objectively about any weaknesses in my own study methods, and if I only pick one recommendation for future students, then it would be to set very definite times to do your study, and where possible keep strictly to these routines, it makes study so much easier! That is also the Kevala Centre advice but I’m afraid I didn’t always apply it, and that was a mistake! Read more...
Fruitful nutritional study with Kevala
by Mariantonietta Capasso in Davi (Ethiopia)
Studying nutrition has always been on my list of things to do since my early twenties. I remember when I was grocery shopping trying to figure out which were the foods that would better supply the nutrients required by my body. I believed that food carried within its own soul, its unique gift for us under its skin. And I was fascinated by its potential in terms of preventative health.

How three courses with The Kevala Centre hepled to change my life.
by Gillian Scott1. Aromatherapy
It was quite a few years ago when I first became interested in complementary therapies and as is often the case it was due to health problems within the family that couldn’t be dealt with by conventional methods. I was introduced to homeopathy for treatment but I decided I wanted to study something for myself. Shift work and children made it impossible for me to attend regular classes so I was very pleased to find an advert for The Kevala Centre. I chose to study aromatherapy and I loved it. Read more....

Why I chose The Kevala Centre
by Kim Blake.I chose to study Nutritional Therapy with The Kevala Centre primarily because it was by correspondence (I work full time so this was very important), but also because it was reasonably priced, and the diploma qualifies for membership of BANT - I was looking for a change in career and this was very influential in my decision. My First Tutorial at Kevala
By Chris ArnoldWhen I applied for the Yoga Teaching Diploma course at Kevala I did not know that it was located in Torquay. Previously I had looked into what was offered on the internet, when I first considered teaching yoga. The Devon School of Yoga in Exeter sounded interesting, as did the Sarah White centre, which is much closer to where I live. They all demand what for many, is impractically long residentials. (They are not cheap, either). As a former Open University student I do not buy the notion that you can only learn in a specified building or place. Read more...
Testimonial for Dr Dhilip
By Sarah Mathews
“Last May (2004) I attended an inspirational workshop on Yoga kriya and pranayama held by Dhilip at the Kevala Centre. I have to say it was one of the most wonderful workshops I have experienced in all of my years of yoga practice. I felt that through the two days of practice with Dhilip I gained so much insight into aspects of yoga which are rarely touched upon. This workshop for me was so beautiful – a real “eye opener”. Dhilip is a wonderful man and has the knack of making you feel comfortable and at ease.
I would certainly recommend the workshops to anyone. Invaluable whether you are a teacher or attend yoga classes. They are truly amazing.”

Stress Management Diploma
By Deepa Parker.
I was living in Botswana at the time of enrolling for the Stress management course. I chose this particular course as nearly everyone I spoke to was” stressed out” and I felt I really wanted to help them. I also meditate regularly and practice yoga. When I saw the course outline I just knew that it was the right course for me. I did Radiography in my “young days” but really disliked it. However I did enjoy the Anatomy and Physiology part of my training. I kept all my books from way back and when I began the Stress Management course all those books really came in handy! Read more...
