The Kevala Centre was established in 1990 and has grown organically in size and increasing international reputation ever since. Our philosophy is to enable everyone to have access to a range of holistic courses at a fair price and at a pace which will suit all the needs of our students in every part of the world.
The Centre offers an exciting range of courses from the Foundation and Life Style level; to the full diploma programme for those who wish to take their studies further for either more advanced personal interest or to set up as a qualified therapist and then on to our advanced programmes.
We also offer an amazing range of weekend tutorials to complement these programmes and, due to popular demand, we now offer workshops to non Kevala students. You can choose from a series of dates spread throughout your studies and decide which tutorials are the most suitable and relevant for your needs. These workshops are highly recommended but not compulsory for all of our students (sometimes geography gets in the way!)– although we have had students fly in from Japan! Apart from therapy specific weekends every one can join in with our open house events – so if you want to learn how to make your own natural bath products or want to find out more about Herbalism or how Nutrition can change your life then we have something for you. If you are an existing therapist but want to extend your skills with a short advance programme or weekend here in the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan we have something for you too.
In your tutorial drink and lunch breaks you can enjoy the grounds at the Centre. The garden here in summer is full of the scent of old-fashioned roses and shrubs and the sound of the birds and local wildlife. There is a wonderful view of the beach and coastline from the balcony and only a short walk through the woodland brings you to the fields, aquaduct and local beach.
The Centre’s philosophy is truly holistic. We have thought about all your needs: from the courses; the weekends; to supporting you through a Student Forum, a Study Buddy pairing scheme and a student newsletter. The website contains an exciting library where students can place their own research items. The Special Events Section where you can find out about master classes and special surprises. We have regular Holistic Days where you can treat your self to a special day which gives you that retreat feeling. Here you learn new skills in a gently relaxed environment and meet new friends. Some people use these as a “taster” before enrolling on a course.
Extending our package of care and quality to students we also have a Learning Support Team at the Centre who can usually deal with most of your enquiries and if not we can give you your tutors telephone time slot.

The Learning Support Team at the Kevala Centre can help with prospective and current students’ enquiries and questions. Our tutors also have a telephone time slot for their students to speak with them directly. You can phone us at any time during the Centre’s office hours and email us at all times.
